Air-Conditioning Systems

Air conditioning (often referred to as AC, A/C, or air con) is the process of removing heat and moisture from the interior of an occupied space to improve the comfort of occupants.

Air conditioning can be used in both domestic and commercial environments. This process is most commonly used to achieve a more comfortable interior environment, typically for humans and other animals; however, air conditioning is also used to cool and dehumidify rooms filled with heat-producing electronic devices, such as computer server, power amplifier, and to display and store some delicate products, such as artwork.

This processing is primarily done using five components:

  • Evaporator
  • Compressor
  • Condenser
  • Expansion valve
  • Refrigerant

There are six different types of air conditioners that are each designed for a different space/reason. These six types of AC units are the basic central AC, ductless, window unit, portable unit, hybrid, and geothermal.

The advantage of Air Conditioning (AC) system are as follows:

  • Reduced Possibility of Asthma Attacks.
  • A More Secure Home.
  • Cool Place to Exercise.
  • Less Insects and Parasites.
  • Better Sleep.
  • Prevents Electronics From Overheating.
  • Improves Work Performance.
  • Reduces the Risk of Dehydration.
  • Reduces the risk of Heat Stroke.
  • Less Noise
